ABOUT KAREN HARLOW

   On any given day, you will find Karen Harlow at her    store Karen Harlow for Home chatting with her    customers, giving them guidance when asked, and just 
   being happy to share home decorating tips and finds.    Although I've known her for years and have been a fan    of her impeccable taste and her keen eye for detail in    all matters that pertain to home design, I asked for a sit    down interview so that everyone else could get to know
   her just a little better and to find out why her store    Karen Harlow for the Home is generating a lot of buzz.

   Q: When did you start loving design?

   Karen: As far back as I can remember. I could sit for    hours pouring over design magazines. I still love to do    that. Some people have morning coffee with a paper    and I have morning coffee with a design magazine.

   Q: Do you remember your first client?

   Karen: Of course I do. It was my mom! She allowed    me to really do whatever I wanted to our home
   growing up. That includes painting while she was    away! She still is my best client. The requests are    always the same "Just do whatever you want. I know I    will love it". See why she's my best client!
